While it's probably not your last chance to see a white Christmas in Buffalo, it is your last chance to catch the musical "White Christmas," which ends Sunday, Dec. 23 at Shea's Performing Arts Center.
Based on the 1954 Paramount holiday film classic and the book by David Ives and Paul Blake, this new touring production of Irving Berlin's "White Christmas" follows the comedic adventures of Army buddies Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, whose romantic pursuit of a duo of singing sisters leads them to a Vermont inn for the holidays.
When a snowless winter threatens to close the inn and defeat its owner, their former commanding officer, the boys decide to stage their newest Broadway revue to bring in a crowd.
Classic Irving Berlin hits include "Happy Holidays," "Sisters" and the title song, "White Christmas."
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 19 and 20, 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, and 2 and 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 23 at 646 Main St., Buffalo.
Tickets are $24.50, $44.50 and $54.50 and are available at the Shea's ticket office, 650 Main St., and through Ticketmaster at 852-5000, or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
