Delmont
Alicia Delmont of Amherst was named director of government affairs for Fidelis Care, a nonprofit health plan serving more than 280,000 members across New York. During her 10-year tenure with Fidelis, she has held various leadership positions, most recently serving as director of claims administrative management.

Dr. Michael Cropp of Amherst has been named the recipient of the WNY & Finger Lakes Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's 2008 Service to Mankind Award. He will be honored on Feb. 23 at the Diamond Ball. He is president and chief executive officer of Independent Health.

Theresa N. Fraser was appointed assistant director of the Museum of disABILITY History, which is part of People Inc., headquartered in Amherst. She has been employed by the company for five years, most recently as a program administrator in the IRA department.

Dr. Marshall Fagin, a prosthodontist in Williamsville, presented "Smile Makeovers with Minimal to No-Prep Veneers: Criteria for Case Selection and Success," to more than 100 dentists in WNY via teleconference. He has been presenting continuing education programs, including aesthetic dentistry, for more than 30 years.

J. Patrick Hulsman of Snyder has been appointed associate vice president for institutional advancement at Niagara University. He will be primarily responsible for assisting the university in its $80-million capital campaign, "The Promise of Niagara: The Next 150 Years." He has more than 30 years of experience in the health care and advancement fields.

Patrick J. Cunningham of Amherst has been elected treasurer of the Historic Naval Ships Association. He is a past president of the organization. Cunningham is the executive director of Buffalo and Erie County Naval and Military Park.
