Phyllis Ryder Endicott, 89, of Williamsville, formerly of Manchester, N.H., died on Sunday, Nov. 25 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.
Born in Manchester, she worked as a children's librarian for the Manchester City Library, retiring in 1980.
She was a poet and an author of children's stories. She loved animals and enjoyed composing music, solving crossword puzzles and reading about American history, especially colonial America.
She is survived by two daughters, Melanie Christon of Haverhill, Mass., and Melissa Giles of East Amherst, and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19 at Dengler & Roberts Funeral Home, 8630 Transit Road, East Amherst.
