NOTEWORTHY - Griffin Kramer, 14, was awarded the Gold Medal for Piano Excellence, left, in the Grade 10-level event at the recent Burlington Music Festival. He studies with pianist Mary Handley and has also received first-class honors for the Royal Conservatory of Toronto's Grade 9 piano. He is a ninth-grader at Amherst High School.
