Bride carries heirloom prayer book

Mr. and Mrs. Christopher J. Traci
Molly J. Whipple married Christopher J. Traci in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at SS. Peter and Paul Church in Williamsville. The Rev. Paul Seil and the Rev. James Hayes officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Maureen and Donald Whipple of Williamsville. The groom is the son of Anne Todd Michaels of Shaker Heights, Ohio and Robert Traci of Westlake, Ohio.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a sleeveless white organza gown with a beaded bodice, cathedral train and fingertip length veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and hydrangeas and a 102-year-old prayer book that belonged to her maternal great-grandmother and was used by her grandmother, mother, aunts and cousins.

The matron of honor was Amy Rzeczkowski, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Andrea Whipple, sister-in-law of the bride; Moira Traci, sister of the groom; and Kristin Argenio, Julie Meier and Daria Stafford, friends of the bride.

The best man was Sean Sinclair, friend of the groom. The ushers were Tyler Welki, brother of the groom; Michael Whipple, brother of the bride; and Richard Freeman, Thomas Obrock and Jason Van Tassel, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at the Niagara Falls Country Club in Lewiston.

The couple is at home in Arlington, Va., after honeymooning in Aruba.
