Pair celebrate 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Francis Snyder

Ruth and Francis Snyder of Clarence Center will celebrate their 60th anniversary with a family dinner.

Francis Snyder married the former Ruth Geisel on Dec. 18, 1947 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Buffalo.

Francis is retired from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., and Ruth is retired from the Williamsville school system.

Francis is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7870. He and Ruth are members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Clarence Center. Francis enjoys fixing things. Ruth enjoys crocheting lap robes for friends in nursing homes.

The couple have four children, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
