Mass, brunch mark 60th anniversar y of couple

Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Whipple

Ruth and Harmon Whipple of Williamsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007 by attending a Mass and a brunch at the Leonard Post Jr. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Cheektowaga.

Harmon Whipple married the former Ruth Truby on Nov. 8, 1947 at St. Mary's Church, Little Valley, N.Y.

Harmon is a retired test specialist with Westinghouse. Ruth is a homemaker.

They are members of SS. Peter and Paul Church in Williamsville and enjoy rosary making and bowling.

The couple have seven children, 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
