Cassandra May Closson married Chad William Staufenberger in an afternoon ceremony on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Falls, N.Y. The Rev. Donald Francis officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ellen and Lee Closson of Holland, N.Y. The groom is the son of Sharon Hess of Cheektowaga and Edward Staufenberger of Amherst.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Barbara Lis, friend of the bride and groom. The bridesmaids were Gen Durfee and Stefanie Logel, friends of the bride and groom.

The flower girl was Joanna Staufenberger, niece of the groom.

The best man was Joe Matteo, friend of the bride and groom. The ushers were Rob Korzeniewski, Mike Budniewski and Pat Fisher, friends of the bride and groom.

The ring bearer was Christopher Closson, nephew of the bride. A reception was held at Christie's Restaurant in West Seneca. The couple honeymooned in New York City.
