Nuptials followed by Caribbean cruise

Mr. and Mrs. Scott Soos

Lauri Latona married Scott Soos in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Queen of Heaven Church, West Seneca. The Rev. Thomas Quinlivan officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Carol and Chuck Latona of West Seneca. The groom is the son of Doreen and Jeffrey Soos of North Tonawanda.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a V-neck, off-the-shoulder, white sequined chiffon gown with a matching sequined veil accented with a beaded tiara. She carried a bouquet of lilies, calla lilies, daisies, roses and carnations accented with a Victorian lilac ribbon.

The maid of honor was Amanda Faulhaber, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Joanne Kuzniarek, aunt and godmother of the bride; Allison Ogorek, cousin of the bride; Shanna Soos, sister of the groom; and Emily and Helen Gibson, friends of the bride's family.

The best man was Kyle Stevener, cousin of the groom. The ushers were Brian Soos, brother of the groom; Joe Latona, brother of the bride; and Robert Kuzniarek, uncle of the bride.

A reception was held at Hearthstone Manor in Depew. The couple took an eastern Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas, St. Thomas and St. Maarten for their honeymoon.
