Clarence Bee editor, groom honeymoon in Riviera Maya

Mr. and Mrs. Jason E. Tylec
Kimberly M. Karcher married Jason E. Tylec in an afternoon ceremony on Oct. 13, 2007 at Salem United Church of Christ in Tonawanda. The Rev. John L. Tipton officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Stephanie and Jeffrey Karcher of Tonawanda. The groom is the son of Jill and Gerald Tylec of North Tonawanda.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a chiffon-over-satin A-line gown, which featured asymmetrical pleats folding into the side seam. Each pleat was accented with Swarovski crystals, and the cap sleeves were embellished with crystals. Her fingertip-length veil was accented with Swarovski crystals, and she carried a bouquet of pink and white roses and white daisies.

The matron of honor was Jennifer Price, sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Kerry Stahl, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Simon, sister of the groom, and Lindsey Acevedo, Jennifer Borkmanis, Jessica Acevedo, Gina Patanella, Kelly Klinger and Danine Kindron, friends of the bride.

The best men were Jeremy Tylec, brother of the groom, and Hector Acevedo, friend of the groom. The groomsmen were Timothy Price, brother-in-law of the bride, and Robert Frank, Ricky Kindron, Mark Augustine, David Acevedo and Dan Andrews, friends of the groom.

A reception was held in the Rose Room at Banchetti's by Rizzo in Amherst.

The couple are at home in North Tonawanda after a honeymoon in the Riviera Maya, Mexico. The bride is editor of The Clarence Bee.
