• BROADWAY BOUND - Teen2Teen Theatre Company, a not-for-profit
organization that uses theater as a means for teaching racial tolerance, self-esteem and
cultural diversity to WNY and NYC youth, has been asked to perform at the New
Amsterdam Theatre on Broadway in New York City Dec. 17 and 18. Seventeen local
youths between the ages of 14 and 18 will be singing, dancing and acting in the
"Gypsy" production, which showcases all the current Broadway casts in the single
largest fundraising Broadway performance of the year. Teen2Teen is the only
non-Broadway theater company that has been asked to perform. For more
information, contact program director Dina Slawson at the Academy of Theatre Arts
at 810-0551.
