Knights Bantam Minor 'AA' stage comeback

The Amherst Knights Bantam Minor "AA" team put together their best performance this season against league rival Rochester Americans.

The Knights dug themselves into a hole by giving Rochester a 2-0 lead in the first period.

The Knights dug themselves out of that hole with an up-tempo second period. Goals by Michael Nowicki (Zach Lesswing) and Alex DiDonato (Christian Curatolo) tied the game and Amherst took the lead with a goal by Derek Aichinger (DiDonato) with .6 seconds on the clock.

In the third, goalie Thomas Styn held off the Americans' onslaught to secure the 3-2 win
