Squirt Devils' persistence pays off

The Squirt Devils came back to beat the Stars, 5-3.

Trailing the Stars 2-0, Squirt Devil Tommy Heyden (unassisted) and teammate Jonah Held (Frankie Bodami) tied the game.

Joe DeMarco (Ricky Bruno, Josh Gilbert) gave the Stars a 3-2 lead but 46 seconds later, Held (Bodami) scored again.

At 7:52 of the third, Bodami (Held) scored what amounted to be the game winner. At 6:13, Sal DiNatale (Justin Presutti) buried an insurance goal.

Bruno and Nick Peters scored the Stars' first two goals.

Goalie Nick Molnar was a huge part of the Devils success, saving 41 of 44 shots.
