Squirt Penguins' Draper earns first shutout

Tom Draper earned his first shutout Sunday as the Squirt Penguins ended the Friendship tournament on a high note, defeating Burlington Ont., 4-0.

After dropping the first three games of the tourney, the Penguins battled back to earn the shutout in the final game against Burlington.

Austin Ballard, the Penguins leading scorer in the tournament, scored twice and had five goals for the weekend. Sarah Scholnick and Nick Tracy also added tallies in the win.

Zach Hurrell and Lilly Markely added two assists. But it was Draper that stole the show, making 18 saves in the win.
