Youth Board camp registration Dec. 10-14

The Amherst Youth Board will accept applications from Dec. 10 through 14 for its President's Week and Spring Day Camp Programs for children ages 5-11. Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Amherst Youth Board Office, 4255 Harlem Road, Amherst.

Evening registration will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13.

President's Week and Spring Recess Camp will be offered at two Youth Center sites: Amherst Youth and Family Center, located in the Pepsi Center, and the Harlem Road Youth Center, located in the community center.

The camps will run from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19 through 22, and Monday, April 14 through 18. Early bird and extended day programs are available for an additional fee.

YouthWork$

The Youth Board has several teens interested in working for residents in need of help with snow removal or jobs around the home.

YouthWork$ is a year-round program that serves as a liaison between Amherst residents with extra work in or around their homes and Amherst youth, ages 12-19, who are interested in working for these residents.
