Main-Transit Fire Department elects 2008 officers

The Main-Transit Fire Department has named its elected officers for 2008. James Lawida was re-elected president, also elected were Vice President Andrew Yambor, Secretary Richard Chudy, Treasurer Harry Schick, Financial Secretary Carol Jackson, and Sergeant At Arms Peter Frank.

Robert Karl was re-elected fire chief, also elected were First Assistant Fire Chief Jon Kemp, Second Assistant Fire Chief Christopher Feuz, Senior Fire Captain William Riley, and fire captains Adam Karl, Marc Gravelle, Jr., Michael Karl, and Daniel Hooper.

The board of directors for 2008 are Brian Bussman, Carl Fischer, John Karl, Robert Karl, William Karl, James Lawida, and James Rusin.

The elected, and soon to be announced, appointed officers will be installed at the annual Installation and Awards Banquet held at the Main-Transit Fire Department Banquet Hall in February.
