Fire districts set elections

Voters in the Eggertsville Fire District next week will elect one person to a five-year term as commissioner and a second person to fill the remaining one year of the term formerly held by the late William Belinson.

Barry Stark is unopposed for the five-year term and Joseph Walterich is unopposed for the one-year term. Voting will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the fire hall, 1880 Eggert Road.

In the Snyder Fire District, Earl Zimmerman is unopposed for a five-year term as commissioner. Voting will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the fire hall, 4531 Main St.
