BPW holiday wine tasting, auction set

The Buffalo/Amherst Business and Professional Women will hold its annual Holiday Wine Tasting and Treasure Auction at its monthly dinner meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13 at the Fairdale Restaurant, 672 Wehrle Drive.

The group, together with "Let's Do Wine," will hold a wine tasting and sell the Buffalo Amherst BPW signature wine. Pinot Noir (red), Riesling (white) and cranberry wine will be sold at $10 per bottle. A treasure auction of holiday gifts will also be held at the meeting.

The cost of the dinner and program is $25. Guests are asked to bring an item to donate to Cornerstone Manor.

Proceeds of the fundraiser benefit BPW advocacy efforts on behalf of working women. BPW's mission is to achieve equity for all women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.
