Bride carries white roses

Michelle Jean Scott married Christopher Mackes in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at St. Mary's Church in Swormville. The Rev. Robert Yetter officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Monika and James Scott of East Amherst. The groom is the son of Melanie and Michael Mackes of East Amherst.
The bride was escorted by her father.
She wore a champagne gown with off-white highlights and champagne beading and carried a bouquet of white roses.
The matron of honor was Erica Stamp, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Tiffany Scott, sister of the bride, and Jennifer Bronson, Louise Dick and Jennifer Perlette, friends of the bride.
The flower girl was Bethany Chin, niece of the bride.
The best man was Peter Orfanos, friend of the groom. The ushers were Matt Mackes, brother of the groom, and Tom Hodiak, Aron Verrall and Chris Palmeri, friends of the groom.
The ring bearer was Justin Scott, nephew and godson of the bride.
A reception was held at Suzanne's Fine Dining in Wheatfield.
A honeymoon is planned for the future. The couple is at home in San Diego.
