Caitlin Weaver of Amherst has been appointed an account executive for Crowley Webb and Associates, a marketing communications agency in Buffalo. Previously she was employed at Worktank Enterprises in Seattle, where she worked primarily on the Microsoft account. Susan Prosser of Amherst has been named director of underwriting at Independent Health. She will be responsible for all underwriting functions and oversee the reporting package provided to experience rated and self-funded clients. She was most recently director of underwriting at Health Net of the North East Inc. Brigid Doherty of Snyder has been named director of the WNY Women's Fund, which invests in programs for females. Her master's degree in business administration and private sector experience, including strategy consulting and investment banking, are expected to help the organization's mission. Marc I. Rosenthal of Williamsville has been named a member of the 2007 President's Council Premier of New York Life Insurance Company. Members are leading performers of New York Life's elite sales force of licensed agents. He was the Council Credit Leader and the top Premier Council Qualifier. Leah Schneider, kindergarten Judaic teacher/resource coordinator at Kadimah School of Buffalo, was awarded the Grinspoon-Steinhardt Award for excellence in Jewish education in Nashville for the Jewish Federation's annual General Assembly. She has been a teacher for 42 years. Robyn Recoon of Amherst has been named director of account services, a new position at Cenergy Communications. Recoon was director of client services at Stand Advertising in Amherst. Prior to that, she was an account supervisor at the Chicago sales promotion agency Frankel, working on Mc- Donald's.
