Family, friends celebrate 50 years

Gerry and Edwin Partyka of Depew celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends at the Protocol Restaurant in Williamsville, hosted by their children.

Edwin Partyka married the former Gerry Homza on Sept. 28, 1957 at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Buffalo.

Edwin is a retired electronic technician from Moog, Inc. in East Aurora.

The couple have three children and six grandchildren.
