Couple mark 65 years with dinner

Eleanor and Gordon Trombley of Clarence celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Falletta's Restaurant in Clarence.
Gordon Trombley married the former Eleanor Spoth on Nov. 14, 1942 at St. Mary's Church in Swormville.
Gordon is retired from the Clarence Highway Department and Beck's Dairy. Eleanor is retired from Williamsville Central Schools.
Gordon made wooden furniture and enjoys creating latchhook rugs. They are both members at St. Mary's Church, where they were originally married.
The couple have five children, 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren and four stepgreat great-grandchildren.
