Newlyweds honeymoon in Key West

Elizabeth A. Kempa married Edmund J. Kaczynski in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at Nativity of Our Lord Church in Orchard Park. The Rev. Richard J. Cilano officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Linda S. and Walter E. Kempa Jr. of Orchard Park. The groom is the son of Anne G. and Maciej J. Kaczynski of Alden.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a strapless satin A-line gown with beaded black lace flowers and a scalloped sweetheart neckline. Her veil was adorned with crystals. She carried a bouquet of white roses and alstroemeria.

The maid of honor was Katherine Kempa, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Haag, sister of the bride; Teresa Kaczynski, sister of the groom; and Rebecca Thayer and Alison Schweichler, friends of the bride.

The best man was Ken Partell, brother-in-law of the groom. The ushers were Maciej and Tadeusz Kaczynski, brothers of the groom, and William Lietzenmayer and Erik Goergen, friends of the groom.

The ring bearer was Benjamin Kempa, son of the bride.

A reception was held in the Terrace Room at the Statler Towers in Buffalo.

The couple are honeymooning in Key West, Fla.
