Judy and John Huff of Amherst announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Ann Huff, to Peter James Buss, son of Sandra Weston of Naperville, Ill., and James Buss of Kenosha, Wis.

Miss Huff graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1996. She earned a bachelor's degree in fine arts from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2001. She is a marketing associate for Turner Construction Co. in San Francisco.

Her fiance graduated from Naperville Central High School in 1992. He earned a degree in psychology from Illinois State University in 1996. He is a project manager at Pacific States Environmental in Dublin, Calif.

A May 2008 wedding is planned.
