Women's health forum set at UB

To ensure that the women of Erie County have access to pertinent healthcare information, the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women is hosting a Regional Women's Health Forum from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 17 at the University at Buffalo's Allen Hall on the South Campus on Main Street.

This informative and free event will include a series of guest presenters from the Health and Nutrition fields, including Gretchen Leffler, Regional Vice President of the American Cancer Society and Wellness Consultant Mary Anne Cappellino amongst other experts in Podiatry and Cardiology.

Attendees will have the opportunity to gain pertinent information on nutrition and weight loss, healthy eating demonstrations and managing stress tips. The Health Forum will also be providing flu and pneumonia vaccines, blood pressure checks and cholesterol screenings.

This is a free and public event open to the women of Erie County.
