Stars defeat Penguins 8-3, up record to 3-0

The Amherst Pee Wee Stars defeated the Penguins, 8-3, to earn their third consecutive win and improve their record to 3-0.

Goals were scored by Star forwards Mark Christy (four), Conor Mulvey (two), Ryan Rego (goal) and Nick Noe (goal).

The Penguins started strong and jumped out to a two-goal lead. However, the Stars with superior teamwork, passing and tough defense, scored seven straight goals to secure the win.

Star defensemen Ryan Higgins, Austin Maciok, Tyler Casselman, Ethan Sokolowski and Harrison Bennet were solid in the win.
