Pee Wee Black Sabres record third victory

The Black Sabres road the solid goaltending of Joe Picone and balanced scoring as they recorded their third consecutive victory, beating the Rangers, 5-2, in an Amherst Hockey Association Pee Wee game.

The Sabres jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead behind goals of Brendan Mazurek and Peter Sinagra. The Rangers' Andrew Kean cut the lead to 2-1 as he scored late in the first period.

The Sabres upped their lead to 4-1 as Andrew Neubert and Jason Raimondi scored before John Huyler of the Rangers cut the deficit to 4-2.

Ryan Marko closed the scoring with an unassisted goal.
