Williamsville Junior Girl Scout Troop 413 recently planted new trees in Buffalo's Martin Luther King Park for the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. They joined with other groups which included representatives from M&T Bank and Independent Health to plant the 39 trees.

The Ring Masters Handbell Ensemble will present a holiday concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Williamsville United Methodist Church, 5681 Main St. at Oakgrove. The ensemble consists of 14 musicians from Erie and Niagara counties. The program includes seasonal favorites. This concert is free and open to the public.
