Pair celebrate 50 years with dinner

Carol and Charles Nowak of West Seneca will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a family dinner at Salvatore's Italian Gardens in Depew.

Charles Nowak married the former Carol Wehrum on Nov. 23, 1957 at St. Teresa's Church in Buffalo.

Charles is a retired mechanic from Nowak's Automotive. Carol is retired from the V.A. Medical Center, where she worked in the Outpatient Department.

The couple are members of St. William's Church and enjoy camping, traveling, fishing and reading.

They have four children, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
