Sarah Harris and Michael Young

Donna and Paul E. Harris Jr. of Cheektowaga announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Harris, to Michael Young, son of Virginia and Joseph Young of Akron.

Miss Harris graduated from Maryvale High School in 2002. She is working on a Bachelor of Science degree in health and wellness at Buffalo State College. She is a pharmacy assistant at Elderwood Senior Care.

Her fiance graduated from Clarence High School in 2002. He earned a degree in fire protection technology from Erie Community College in 2005. He is a firefighter in the Village of Medina.

A July 2009 wedding is planned.
