Pair at home in Syracuse

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey S. Welton
Jocelyn E. Jones married Jeffrey S. Welton in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at First English Lutheran Church in Lockport. The Rev. Charles Biegner and the Rev. Flavia Skilbred officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Patricia M. and Morgan L. Jones Jr. of Lockport. The groom is the son of Donna L. and Kenneth F. Welton of East Amherst.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore an ivory satin gown with an overlay accented with metallic embroidered lace, crystal beads and sequins, as well as a gold satin sash at the waist and a chapel-length train. The two-tiered, elbow-length veil featured a crystal- and pearl-beaded tiara. She carried a mixed bouquet of fresh flowers including orchids, veronica, agapanthus, crocosmia and kangaroo paws.

The matron of honor was Mordion Gall, friend of the bride. The maid of honor was Sarah Foster, friend of the bride.

The flower girls were Kristen and Allyson Sawyer, nieces of the groom.

The best man was Matthew Retallack, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens in Buffalo.

The couple is at home in Syracuse after a honeymoon in New England.
