The Pee Wee Devils (2-0) beat the Red Wings, 4-2, on Saturday.

The Devils were ahead 3-0 at the end of the second period.

Devils' goalie Bryan Cowing was close to having his first shutout, but the Red Wings gained momentum in the third period.

James Kirkpatrick and Jake Alessandra earned two goals with assists by Lynn Sementilli, Adam Herman and Ryan Hillery, but it was too late to claim victory.

James Bassett's three goals and Stephen Soos' goal ensured the Devils' second win.

Jacob Distasio, James Irish-Ryan and Jack-Riley Armentrout played solid defense for the Devils.

Devils 10, Sharks 3

Sharks' goalie Matthew Phillips sustained 33 shots on goal and made 23 saves in a game played on Nov. 4.

The Devils' James Bassett scored a hat trick and two assists. Joshua Wrest (two goals, two assists), Charles Carlino (goal, assist), Mitch Yoder (two goals, assist) and Stephen Soos (goal) also scored.

William Tunkey, Scott Kaempf, Dimitry Shapkin and Dan LaLama executed assists that led to the Devils' victory.

Devils' goalie Bryan Cowing took 13 shots on goal and made 10 saves. Tom Adolf, Melissa Mallon and Brian Bookbinder scored for the Sharks, with an assist by Tom Main.
