Sister Eleanor Galucki, wife, mother, Franciscan sister
Sister Eleanor Galucki, 86, of

Galucki
Williamsville, died on Sunday, Nov. 11 at St. Mary of the Angels Health Care Center, Williamsville.

Born in Buffalo, she worked for NFT and J.H. Williams. She entered the Sisters of St. Francis in 1986.

Sister Galucki worked at SS. Peter and Paul School in Williamsville and St. Anthony's School in South Carolina.

She volunteered with the American Red Cross, Association for the Blind, and Cantalician Center for Learning and Literacy Volunteers. She was a choir member at St. Christopher's Church in Tonawanda and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Brighton Volunteer Fire Company.

She also volunteered at the Little Portion Friary in Buffalo and did community service at St. Mary of the Angels, participating primarily in prayer ministry in her later years.

Sister Galucki was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1973. She is survived by four sons and two daughters.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 15 in the chapel of St. Mary of the Angels, 201 Reist St., Williamsville.
