What's Going On JCC Ski Club now accepting reservations The JCC Ski Club is now accepting reservations for skiers in sixth- through 12th-grades for trips to Kissing Bridge. The season begins Jan. 6 and continues through March 2. Participants do not have to be JCC members. Early sign-ups will receive a discounted price. Amherst dentist to buy back Halloween candy Winning Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is buying back Halloween candy; $1 per pound. The candy will be donated to soldiers in Iraq and $1 will be donated to Buffalo City Mission for each pound brought in. 'Blood Diamond' featured at CFImovie night The Center for Inquiry's November movie night will feature the 2006 adventure drama "Blood Diamond," starring Leonardo Di- Caprio and Jennifer Connelly. The film follows a fisherman, a smuggler, and a syndicate of businessmen as they match wits over the possession of a priceless diamond in Sierra Leone. Caregiver classes set in Williamsville A six-week educational program designed to provide caregivers the tools needed for taking care of themselves will be covered from 6 to 8:30 p.m. now through Saturday, Dec. 10 at Elderwood at Glenwood, 5271 Main St., Williamsville. The six sessions, held weekly, will teach caregivers to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, better communicate feelings and locate helpful resources. Cost for the course is $25.
