Park School fall play set The Park School of Buffalo will present "The Good Doctor," a play by Neil Simon, for their annual fall production. Performances will be 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15 and 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17. The play is Simon's response to the short stories of Anton Chekhov. The cast is made up of Park School students from grades 8 through 12. Margo Davis, from the Park School class of 1968, is the director and is assisted by Kyle Polaske, drama and art teacher at Park. Art teacher Dave O'Malley will serve as the technical director. The cast consists of Lucas Baumgart of East Aurora; Martin Bielat of Lancaster; Taylor Dark and Saira Wetzel of Cheektowaga; Virginia Freeman of Amherst; Emily O'Hara of East Amherst; Brianna Higgins of Clarence; Elizabeth Maxwell and Drew Sanchez of Williamsville; Will Brereton, Nelquan Jones and Harry Lipsitz of Buffalo; Frances Frett of Niagara Falls; and Kaitlyn Rickard of Hamburg. This year's performance is dedicated to the memory of Tom Bailey, longtime drama and history teacher at Park, who passed away in September. Bailey taught for 33 years at Park before his retirement in 2006 and is remembered by students, faculty and staff as a wonderful teacher, mentor, director and colleague. All performances will take place in the Theatre, located in the Helen Long Building on the Park School campus, 4625 Harlem Road, Snyder. Performances are open to the public.
