Pair to mark 50 years with Alaskan cruise

Theresa and Norman Koharski of West Seneca celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner for family and friends at Creekside Banquet Facility in Cheektowaga.

Norman Koharski married the former Theresa Pittner on Nov. 9, 1957 at St. Valentine Church in Buffalo.

Norman is retired from the maintenance department of the West Seneca Developmental Center. Theresa is a retired book processor from the Erie County Main Library.

The couple are members of St. John Vianney Church in Orchard Park. They also enjoy square dancing, socializing and traveling.

They have planned an Alaskan cruise to further celebrate their anniversary.

The couple have three children and eight grandchildren.
