Couple celebrate 50 years with brunch, picnic

Antoinette D. and Charles A. Martin of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of East Amherst, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family brunch and a family picnic in Jacksonville.

Charles A. Martin married the former Antoinette G. Dean on July 27, 1957 in New York City.

Charles is a retired technical sales representative from Eastman Kodak Co., where he worked for more than 35 years. Antoinette is retired from Williamsville Central School District, where she worked in public relations.

Charles is a volunteer at the World of Golf Village in St. Augustine, Fla., and author of "The Last Great Ace" biography on Maj. Thomas B. McGuire Jr. Antoinette is a member of the Philanthropic Educational Organization of Jacksonville.

The couple have three children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
