New Zealand trip planned

Mrs. Sean McManus

Evelyn Vento married Sean Mc- Manus in an afternoon ceremony on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lancaster. The Rev. Paul Steller officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mary and Leonard Vento of Lancaster. The groom is the son of Lois McManus of Freehold, N.Y., and Thomas McManus of Cairo, N. Y.

The bride was escorted by her father.

She wore a light ivory strapless Mon Cheri gown with silver and white beading. Her veil was light ivory and studded with rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of white roses, calla lilies and stephanotis with the stems wrapped in light blue ribbon.

The maid of honor was Kathleen Vento, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Gianna Mc- Manus, sister of the groom, and Candace Silverstein, Lee Ann Chalupka, Elizabeth Marquette and Jill Zarazinski, friends of the bride.

The best man was Scott Mc- Manus, brother of the groom. The ushers were Robert Droppa, cousin of the groom, and Christopher Duncan, friend of the groom.

A reception was held at Sean Patrick's Emerald Isle in Getzville.

The couple will honeymoon in New Zealand in 2008. They are at home in Hawaii.
