Pair wed in afternoon ceremony

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dusza Jr.

Karen Kmiotek married Joseph Dusza Jr. in an afternoon ceremony on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at St. Gabriel's Church in Elma. The Rev. Dan Palys officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Daniel Kmiotek of Lancaster. The groom is the son of Barbara and Joseph Dusza of Cheektowaga.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Tracy Jones, friend of the bride. The bridesmaids were Jennifer Dusza, sister of the groom, and Kristin Davidson, Ryan Fisher, Michelle Williams and Stacey Burgio, friends of the bride.

The best man was Christopher Dusza, brother of the groom. The ushers were Joseph Dusza, nephew of the groom; Daniel Kmiotek, brother of the bride; and Tim Derion, Randy Fouts and Doug Jones, friends of the groom.

A reception was held at Creekside Banquet Facility in Cheektowaga.

The couple will make their home in Cheektowaga.
