Daniel Murphy and Melissa Corrow

Julia and Michael Corrow of Lake Placid, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Corrow, to Daniel Murphy, son of Patricia and William Murphy of Lancaster.

Miss Corrow graduated from Lake Placid Central High School in 1999. She earned a bachelor's degree in community health education in 2003 and a master's degree in childhood and health education in 2005, both from Potsdam State College. She is a second-grade teacher.

Her fiance graduated from Lancaster High School in 2000. He earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in 2005 from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He is an environmental engineer.

A June 2008 wedding is planned.
