Stephen T. Williams and Maureen E. Butta

Salvatore Butta of Amherst and Joann and Edwin Gampp of North Tonawanda announce the engagement of their daughter, Maureen E. Butta, to Stephen T. Williams, son of Susan and Thomas Williams of Amherst.

Miss Butta is attending college in Cleveland, Ohio, studying to be a certified public accountant. She is employed at the metal fabricating division plant of General Motors in Parma, Ohio.

Her fiance is in an environmental science program at a college in Cleveland. He also works at the General Motors metal fabricating plant in Parma and is a member of the plant's first responder unit.

A spring 2008 wedding is planned.
