Jonathan T. VanNortwick and Sara K. Heverley

Robin and Jeff Heverley of Lancaster announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara K. Heverley, to Jonathan T. VanNortwick, son of Linda and Thomas Van- Nortwick, also of Lancaster.

The bride graduated from Lancaster High School in 2002. She earned a bachelor's degree in childhood/ middle childhood education from Canisius College in 2006. She is pursuing her master's degree in differentiated instruction at Canisius College. She is a sixth-grade English language arts teacher at Iroquois Middle School.

Her fiance graduated from Lancaster High School in 2001. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Maryland in 2005. He is pursuing his master's degree in business administration at the University at Buffalo. He is a project coordinator of college/Major League Baseball at New Era Cap Co. in Buffalo.

An August 2008 wedding is planned.
