Rath thanks voters for victory

Thank you to the voters of the 15th District of the Erie County Legislature for electing me as your next legislator. I feel privileged and honored to have this opportunity. As my campaign team and I walked door to door during the campaign, we listened to the voters of Amherst. Because of this effort, I feel as though I understand your needs and concerns for Erie County. On Jan. 1, I will strive to implement the changes the voters want.

I was extremely fortunate to have a tremendous campaign team. The success that we had on Tuesday, Nov. 6 would not have been possible without the tireless help and dedication of my campaign manager, Keith Bryan. He worked on every aspect of the campaign, and his intelligence and professionalism were a large part of our success. Some other key campaign individuals who significantly helped our effort were A. J. Baynes, Nick Verbanic and Jon McNulty. A sincere thank you to them, as well as all of my other volunteers, for their hard work and assistance during the election process.

Additionally, I want to congratulate all of my fellow Republican candidates for their successful campaigns. We all carried a positive issues-based message that resonated across Amherst and Erie County. I look forward to working with all current and newly elected officials and advocating for reform for Erie County. Thank you again for this opportunity.
