Jaros thankful for re-election

The past 20 years have been an amazing time. When I first started as tax receiver I was young. I was willing to take on the world, and I did. My goal was to make things better for the public and for the workers, and I believe the office is better now than it was back then. Through this position I met some wonderful people and network with others I never would have met if I wasn't Amherst's tax receiver. After 10 years and numerous opportunities, I was fortunate enough to become Amherst's town clerk. Again, I was able to meet new people and learn new things. My horizons were broadened, and my life was better for it.

I want to thank all of you who have supported me in the past and have given me your vote of confidence. Without your support, my life would have been entirely different, and I sure am grateful for the past 20 years, and I look forward to continuing to make changes and improve the workings of town government. Again thank you for your support.
