Hayes schedules townwide meeting

Assemblyman Jim Hayes has scheduled a town meeting for all Amherst residents. The meeting will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Eggertsville Fire Hall, 1880 Eggert Road.

"The meeting provides an open forum for members of the community to voice their concerns about state issues," Hayes said, adding the topics to be discussed include the STAR program, Gov. Eliot Spitzer's driver's license policy and legislative and budget reform.
