• PHOTOGENIC SEARCH - K
& M Productions will be holding a
Photogenic Search at noon Saturday,
Dec. 1 at the Walden Galleria Mall,
Cheektowaga. Babies to adults, male
and female, are eligible to enter. There
will be six age divisions and two
different categories in each age division.
The two categories are "Most
Photogenic" and "Funniest Photo."
There will be first, second and third
places awarded. Applications are
available at the Walden Galleria Mall
customer service desk on the second
floor or by sending a stamped,
self-addressed envelope to: Photogenic

• BODOG BATTLE OF THE
BANDS - Adam Zadok, a
Buffalo-based singer/songwriter, beat out
thousands of submissions nationwide to
compete in the first round of the
BODOG Battle of the Bands. Zadok
and his band will compete in the
semifinal round on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at
Cleveland's Peabody's Concert Club.
Thousands of bands throughout the
country will vie for the BODOG $1
million record deal. MTV has also
licensed Zadok's music for future
productions, including the reality TV
dating show, "Next."
• GOSPEL MUSIC MINUTE -
The Gospel Music Minute update, a
locally produced, three-minute spot, is
now airing twice daily on Buffalo's

WUFO 1080 AM. Produced by
BuffaloChristian.com's Mark Weber and
WUFO's Duane Price, the Gospel
Music Minute update will bring area
listeners news about music artists and
events from both a local and national
perspective. Updates will air weekdays at
8:35 a.m. and 4:35 p.m. on the station.
• CD RELEASE - The Polish
American Journal has released the
second in its collection of favorite Polish
American Christmas carols, "A Polish
Village Christmas, Vol. II." The CD
features performances by four Polka
Music Hall of Fame artists, including
Lenny Gomulka, Mitch Biskup, Jackie
Libera and Mike Nowakowski, and
award-winning musicians and vocalists
John Bartley, Eddie Biegaj, Patricia
Blust, John Jaworski, Kyle Kohan, Mark
Kohan, Jim Kucharski, Joe Macielag,
Robin Pegg and Larry Trojak. "A Polish
Village Christmas, Vol. II" is available
