Program directors named for Salvatore School of Hospitality & Business

Kingsley
The new Russell J. Salvatore School of Hospitality and Business has named two directors.

James E. Carlo was appointed as director of hospitality and Hal P. Kingsley as director of business.

The school is part of Trocaire College.

Kingsley of Getzville was an adjunct professor/assistant professor at Bryant & Stratton and Erie Community colleges. He has more than 14 years of technology and marketing experience.

"Trocaire's program not only offers students an opportunity to earn an associate degree in business but also prepares them for transfer to a bachelor's degree program if they choose to continue their education," said Kingsley, who will be supervising the college's business program.

He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University at Buffalo and a master's degree in marketing from Emerson Graduate School.

In his new role, Carlo will supervise the college's hospitality program, overseeing student internships at both Salvatore's Italian Gardens Restaurant and the Garden Place Hotel. Prior to joining Trocaire, Carlo was an assistant professor for the School of Hospitality Management at Erie Community College.

Trocaire College, a two-year private college located in South Buffalo for almost 50 years, will soon be expanding the Russell J. Salvatore School of Hospitality and Business to 6681 Transit Road, between Genesee and Wehrle.

Classes will be offered at the new site beginning with the January 2008 semester. For more information on Trocaire College, visit www. trocaire. edu.
