Rebecca Lee Sleight, 43, of Buffalo, died on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at Hospice Buffalo.

Born in Medina, she was a senior honors student at Buffalo State College, pursuing a degree in secondary English education. She worked at My Tomato Pie in Amherst and was a talented chef.

She is survived by her father, Donald T., and her mother, Lucia; one brother, David James Sleight; and one sister, Lisa Beth Hennig.

Services were held on Friday, Nov. 2 at St. Joseph University Church, Buffalo. Arrangements were made by Amigone Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
