Resident named U.S. Sudoku champion
from Amherst High School, has claimed another Sudoku championship.

Holding the world title, Snyder won the first U.S. National Sudoku Championship, sponsored by the Philadelphia Inquirer, on Oct. 20.

He was awarded $10,000.

Snyder earned his Ph.D. from Harvard in August 2007, and is now a post-doc at Stanford University.
