Community meeting addresses public safety

The Eggertsville Community Organization Inc., in conjunction with the Town of Amherst, will host a public forum on crime and safety in Eggertsville.

It is scheduled at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the Windermere Boulevard Elementary School auditorium, 291 Windermere Blvd.

The forum will include a presentation by the Amherst police, and the Youth Board and an opportunity for residents to speak during a suspension of the rules period. The evening will end with a roundtable discussion.
